The Pannier Market, a historic venue dating back to the 1100s, remains a focal point for local commerce and community gatherings.

If you have come prepared with waterproofs and wellies, there is nothing quite like having a stomp out on Dartmoor in the wind and rain. Tavistock’s natural surroundings provide a stunning backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts, with countless opportunities for hiking, cycling, and exploring the great outdoors. A walk along Tavistock Canal is a more sheltered option for those who don’t fancy getting blown away!
