The last Bank Holiday in May is a great time to come along to the Nature Inspired Market in Butchers Hall, running alongside the Tavistock Country Garden Show. Open 9am to 5pm each day, free entry
Roll up, roll up, for the Tavistock Steam & Vintage Fair, held in the Bedford and Wharf Car Parks, Tavistock. Offering steam-hauled trailer rides around town, running tractors, classic cars plus local crafts, locally produced food and drink, and live music. Entry is just £2 per person.

TaviFringe, festival of music, is taking place in and around the centre of Tavistock and in The West Devon Club Garden from 10.00am to late on Saturday 11th July '26. All events are FREE! Some thirty bands, choirs, dancers and singers lined up to perform at five venues across the town.
The 2026 Carnival Parade takes place on Sunday 19th July. The theme is 'Golden Moments', celebrating 50 years of the Lions Club of Tavistock. The Carnival procession starts at 4pm.
